Features of a Vortex Venom

We are back and talking about another optic. Today we are going to be discussing the Vortex Venom 5-25x56. If you are looking for an optic that would be good for long range shooting or hunting, this would be a good option for you. Let’s go over a couple of its features.

Available in either MOA or MRAD, the Venom sports a 34mm tube for maximum adjustment and a 5x magnification. The Venom has a parallax adjustment of 15 yards to infinity and weighs in at 35 oz. (Ounces shmounces, it weighs just under 2.2lbs)

The lenses are coated in Vortex’s own XR anti-reflective coating. This will help transmit light, which will result in bright and clear images at lower light, essential if you want to lengthen the time you can hunt. This optic is also waterproof, fog-resistant, shock-resistant, and the lenses are scratch resistant. This will help keep it reliable in all weather conditions you may encounter with all of the guts being housed in aircraft-grade aluminum. Tough enough to pound in your tent stakes… But probably don’t do that.

This scope is a first focal plane optic (FFP), which is perfect for bench shooters or, if that is your preference, hunters. This optic is competitively priced, which means you will get a great optic for a great price. Vortex also has a lifetime warranty; if your optic fails, at all, they will repair or replace your optic! Okay calm down, I’ve heard it before.. “The best warranty is the one you don’t have to use”.. Listen, things happen and no optic is “bullet proof”, so being backed by one of the industry's leading warranty sounds like a great deal to me.

In conclusion, this is a great-quality optic for a competitive price. We also offer turrets for this optic in both a custom turret and a custom sticker turret. Make sure you check this optic out if you have been looking for a new piece of glass that is great for long-range shooting as well as hunting. We hope this helped you out, and make sure to check back next month.

P.S. Repeat after me; “Do not use my scope to pound tent stakes in, Do not use my scope to pound tent stakes in.”
